When I arrived I didn’t feel welcome at all. The lady that waited on me was not friendly. I schedule my appointment at 3 the next day because she told me that is the latest appointment she can do. I asked can I come at 4 or 3:30 but no the latest appointment was 3 so I took off from work early so I can get there at 3. At 3:30 another appointment arrived. The guy that took my payment was very nice. I live in a small town and that is the only Chevrolet place in town. I like to think Lake Chevrolet for the coupons. Over all everything was great.

Before we left we were told about a leak. It's never leaked before. There was a time when you went to a dealership, they wouldn't suggest you leave if there was a problem. They would fix it. Maybe it's not as serious as I think, but we depend on the truck to get us back and forth to serious medical issues. And now we have to worry about getting there. Our garage floor had an oil pool on it the next day. Are we going to have to keep oil in the truck in case it runs low. I'm thinking it's not a bad idea, even though it's not been a worry before. We've always returned to you because we thought it was important to keep the truck serviced, and we trusted Lake Country. It's so disappointing and worrisome on top of everything else we're having to deal with.

Service writer was courteous and did not take long to get my truck in. The air bag recall was not so good. I had cracks in my dash already, but now I have multiple cracks around air bag module. The air bag module sticks up about a half of an inch on one one, there is a serious Crack near radio that is h worse that before they worked on it. Driving down the road the radio moves 2 inches front to back like the dash is cracked completely from top to bottom. As in now I have to replace dash board completely. I worked for Chevrolet at Burnam Chevrolet in liberty TX. At the time my shop foreman expected a high quality of work from employees. I did computer, electrical, and customer complaint work. I understand the dash is brittle but my dash being broken to pieces to the point I have to replace it in my opinion is unacceptable. I will not recommend this dealership to anyone. When I worked there my supervisor would not accept the outcome of this airbag replacement. But I understand that the quality thay was expected in the past is not today. I wish I could attach pictures of my dash how I received it after the tech was done. Not happy, now I have to purchase a new dash and replace it. In my opinion as a 40 year technician the work is not up to the standards that were expected when I worked at Chevrolet. The service writer was courteous and friendly, the mechanic did not do a very good job. As it stands now i will have to pay for a new dash and have it installed. Clarence Pruett

We did inform you when making appointment and before service that due to age of vehicle, dash could crack during service. Our tech tried to be as cautious as possible but due to the cracks present before service on dash, it was almost impossible to stop it from spreading. Everything was great from arranging and scheduling the appointment to taking possession of the vehicle. My only wish, not a complaint, is that someone could have advised me if my tires were balanced well or if they had to balance them because of being out of balance. There has been a noticeable vibration since I purchased the vehicle, which is much like a balance problem. No one could tell me if they did or did not balance the tires.
